La Liste's World's Best Pastry Shop Selection, presented by Cacao Barry, celebrated one year since its launch in September 2022. The star-chef-studded event featured the inaugural Pastry Shops and Chef Awards.

Award recipients included Pierre Hermé, who received the Pastry Award of Honor 2023 for his pastry leadership and creativity and Amaury Guichon, whose outstanding innovation, chocolate masterpieces, and engagement with the pastry community earned him the World's Most Creative Pastry Chef 2023 award, which is sponsored by Cacao Barry. Also honoured at the event were Philip Khoury, Yann Couvreur, Chocolate Ambassador Jordi Roca and former Chocolate Academy™ Chef Lauren V Haas.
