Polish Ambassadors visit Barcelona
This September marked the 25th anniversary of the opening of Chocolate Academy™ Poland, the 5th in our global network of Chocolate Academy™ Centers. In honour of this festive occasion, 6 Chocolate Ambassadors and 4 Chocolate Academy™ Chefs travelled to meet with their colleagues at the Chocolate Academy™ Center in Barcelona.
During a visit to the Barry Callebaut offices in the city centre, chefs had the opportunity to learn more about our partner brand, Chocovic and get more details about the upcoming World Chocolate Masters competition and its newly announced theme, “Play!” Ambassadors and Academy Chefs got a sneak preview of upcoming products and shared their ideas about how these products can enhance their own work and that of Chocolate Academy™ clients.
Barcelona Chefs Josep Maria Ribé, Enric Monzonis, and Albert Davi were on hand to guide the visiting chefs through a recipe development workshop using products like Callebaut NXT.
These events are an incredible opportunity for Chefs and Ambassadors to come together, get better acquainted with each other, and discuss how they can work together to further the Chocolate Academy™ mission of helping chefs and artisans succeed in their craft and businesses. To this end, everyone enjoyed forays into the city to visit Barcelona’s highest-rated patisseries, tour the city, and enjoy dinners together, all of which fostered camaraderie and a greater understanding of Barcelona from a cultural and culinary perspective.
